I've always been a great fan of baitrunner reels, and more than a few of them have found their way into my collection of carp fishing tackle. As a matter of fact, actually I favour Shimano reels, not just for the manufacturer’s ultra-modern merchandise, but because reels such as my XT RA 10000 are durable as well. Shimano has made the right move through proffering excellent items for practical prices, and supporting their fishing tackle with outstanding guarantees and service following the sale. All in all, I think the XT RA 10000 is a significant step up from the Shimano Aero GTE baitrunner reels that it replaced.
