By 2002 according to some reports, there are abut 18.5 million skate boarders in the world mostly under the age of 18 and mostly male.
A skateboard can be propelled by using only one foot while the other one remains on board. It can be used through standing on its deck provided the slope is downward. Only the gravity propels the board as well as the rider to move. A goofy style is when the rider positions precisely their right foot ahead. If it is on the left, then the ride is said to be a “regular” ride. If the rider is doing a normal but choose to ride wacky then he is actually riding “switch”.
With today’s technology, there is already an electric skateboard in the market. It does not require any propelling at all using your feet. It uses electric motor which is responsible for propelling the board fed by an electric electric battery in order to move.
The skate boarding active sport has been formally accepted by the general population after the success of the first Extreme Games in 1995. This is in Rhode Island. Using the introduction of skateboarding video games, production of skate boards for children increased and the skaters are now more accepted in the society.
