Take the Time to Say 'Thank YOU'

You have no idea how much this will mean to her. Women are a huge support system for the men in their lives. Much more than the average man realizes in the midst of a relationship. It takes a little time apart to realize just how much their girlfriends and wives really do support them in their day to day routines.

Simple things like laundry, dry cleaning, bank runs, dinner preparation, making lunches for the office and countless other odds and ends make a huge difference in the lives of the men they love. These little things are often unnoticed and rarely acknowledged or appreciated.

Just by thanking her for doing them you've let her know that you do notice and that you are appreciative. For some women that is all it will take to turn things around. For other women, it's an excellent start.

Give Her a Day Off

I know. Money is tight these days. Families everywhere are struggling to save their pennies wherever possible. However, every once in a while it is totally worth spending a little extra money in order to give the woman you love a day off. Send her to the spa, out with the girls, or buy her a book and send her to the beach, lake, her favorite coffee shop to spend the afternoon reading while everyone else in the family rolls up his or her sleeves and pitches in to do all the things mom does on a normal day.

The day off alone will be enough to win her heart all over again. Knowing that when she gets home there won't be a mountain of chores waiting on her is the priceless part that will really make this gesture so special.
