Measuring and control system built on a series of modules I - 7000 allows acquisition of measurement and control signals in both the individual objects as well as sophisticated automation systems. We offer over 70 different modules including: digital I / O, input / output analog A / D and D / A, strain gauge and thermocouple inputs, clocks, timers, RS232 to RS485 adapter, repeaters RS-485, RS-232/422/485 to USB converters, MMI interfaces, applications software. These modules are connected together with two RS-485 cables form a network. In one network can be connected to the 256 modules of series I-7000.
Programmable Input / Output
The scope and mode (input or output) for the modules are fully configurable. The user configures the module commands from a remote host. This allows the use of the data modules in a variety of applications. This increases the application flexibility and reduce system costs. Module I-7000 series are controlled by two watchdog-s: the module and host. Watchdog in a built-in module is a hardware-head. It is designed to automatically reset the microprocessor when the module is working correctly. The new software-watchdog monitors the work of the master unit (host, eg PLC or PC) and when an incorrect operation of this unit can drive the output of the module to secure state (setpoint at time of failure the host). I-7000 systems can work under the supervision of the SCADA system or the user can use the PLC to directly control the system I-7000. Modules Series I-7000 requires the supply voltage range from 10V to 30V DC.
Construction of "Self-tuner"
Module I-7520 is equipped with a "Self-tuner". This system allows you to automatically tune the module for data transmission speed and format of data for devices across the RS-485 network. This gives the user the ability to connect in a network of several devices such as: PLC, gprs industrial computer, modem, radio, ATC-2000 etc. working with different transmission speeds and data formats. You do not need anything configured using switches or software, this system of self-tuner to do it for him. Modules can be mounted I-7000 series of DIN rail, wall or "myself" by a special handle "Piggy Back". Each module is equipped with a special terminal block allows quick and safe connection of signal cables and power cords.
The communication protocol
All I-7000 modules using a simple communication protocol: query-response. Each module sends data when you query the, otherwise it will not send data. Along with the modules provide a complete specification of the protocol which allows you to easily and quickly communicated with 7000 series modules from any application. Some well-known applications that can control the I-7000 modules directly. These are the Labview, HP VIEW, Testpoint, ISaGRAF, etc. SCADA programs to communicate with the I-7000 can use the modules supplied with the OPC server.
