Solar Panels May Well Open Up A New Eco Friendly Horizon For Domestic Customers Who Want To Do Something About Climate Change.
If a customer can afford the Solar Electricity Prices and then goes ahead and has a Solar Panels system installed, there may be a chance that the customer will see this as a positive step towards helping global warming. For this to take place, the customer may have something of a eco friendly epiphany, to show them the opportunities that a Solar Panels set up can bring. Once the customer realises the savings they can make from their Solar Panels set up, this may spur them on to trying to reduce the family’s energy consumption to reduce their dependency on their utility company further.
The savings that the customer can make really are based on how efficient they are at using energy compared to how the Solar Roof Panels set up creates it. This may well be key if the family has a member at home during daytime, which is when the Solar Panels set up will be supplying energy mainly. During daytime is the best time to use devices with a heavy energy consumption, like washing machines, so that the customer may well not need to draw extra energy from the utility company, using the Solar Panels set up fully and getting good value for the Solar Energy Prices paid.
In reality the customer would not simply pay the Solar Energy Prices and expect nothing in return from their Solar Panels set up. The Solar Energy Prices for a standard family home are something like £12,000, for which the homeowner receives a Solar Panels set up capable of supplying something like 2.7 kW. This capacity Solar Panels set up is expected to be something like 50% of the standard family’s energy consumption, so this may well be the main saving for the customer. In addition the government set up the feed in tariff scheme which pays home owners with renewable energy systems, for each kWh their Solar Panels set up, or wind turbine, creates. Also, if their Solar Panels set up creates surplus energy and this is then transferred to the grid, they are paid for this. The total savings and payments may be something like £1,170 per year, giving a reimbursement duration of 10 to 11 years for the Solar Energy Prices.
On the global warming side this capacity of Solar Panels set up is expected to save the delivery of 1.2 tonnes of CO2 per year.
