Fishing Tackle Review: The Daiwa Fuego-A Spinning Reel
I'm the first to admit that acquiring quality fishing tackle is one of my passions. I am either angling or contemplating angling. If I'm not thinking about fishing, I'm scouring stores and the Internet for fishing gear of all types. Reels are definitely one of my passions—I have many of them. When I take inventory of my fishing supplies, I realize that a lot of it is from Daiwa, which is a great choice, you know! This company has got a reputation for producing high end items which are inexpensive. They have a meticulous attention to detail, and I am constantly using my Daiwa fishing reels. One I particularly like is the Fuego-A. Here's why.
Fishing Tackle: Main Facets of the Daiwa Fuego-A Spinning Reel
Reconstructed as of late, the Fuego reel features modernised, state-of-the-art styling. This design is just a little portion of what this reel is all about. This Fuego A incorporates a whole new base element which is unlike other fishing reel material. While many of the company's most popular reels have strong and light magnesium frames, the Fuego-A is made from a proprietary material called Zaion. Zaion is Daiwa's trade name for this extra-strong composite carbon substance. A lot of fishers, me too, are partial to a carbon-based fishing tackle because it has a high resistance to oxidation, plus a greater weight to strength ratio.
Fishing Tackle: More About the Daiwa Fuego-A
The Fuego-A has got the capacity for approximately 100m of 8lb test line. The reel weighs in at 100g, and it has a 4.8:1 gear ratio. Approximately 63cm of line can be retrieved by cranking the handle only once. This fishing reel is equipped with three ball bearings, one roller bearings, three corrosion resistance bearings. Its frame, rotor, and side plate are designed from Zaion. This Fuego-A has got Daiwa's AirBail system and also a sealed drag system. A spare spool is supplied. The fishing reel has a price tag of approximately £175.00. It has got a handsome matte grey finish, bordered with anodised red styling cues on its handle and spool.
